But not 3 SEC![]()
If Mich St wins only 1 SEC team in after they put 14 in the dance
But not 3 SEC![]()
Feels like Barnes ceiling - which isn’t a bad thing. I’d be shocked if he ever gets over the hump.Second straight Elite 8 loss for Tennessee
It was over no way Tennessee was coming back. Houston’s shear will would never have allowed that. This is not over yet btw.
I said this when they cut it to 14 with about 18 minutes it was possible but very improbable. It was over no way Tennessee was coming back. Houston’s shear will would never have allowed that.
I think he is better than good in both areas. Hence the consistency of this Houston program. Admit it no one including myself saw them dominating the Big 12 when they joined. The big 12 was the Kansas invitational until Houston joined.Good coach or recruiter?
Yes I understand was not trying to be snarky, I just felt the game was over pretty much at halftime. But certainly early in the 2nd half.I said this when they cut it to 14 with about 18 minutes it was possible but very improbable.
Multiple times.
It happened once to Calhoun when the NCAA was investigating the program over Nate Miles. Assistants under Calhoun made impermissible calls. Samson was caught as head coach of Oklahoma for making impermissible calls and then became head coach at Indiana where he was caught again for the same thing. He was fired/resigned from IU because of it and was out of coaching for 5 years because of it.Same as Calhoun, I think.
HiIt’s why Michigan state and Tennessee will eventually ultimately fail
5 years for phone calls. So this is payback……good for him. I thought it may have been “significant” but that was during the time the NCAA was fully engulfed in their era of abusing their power. It happened once to Calhoun when the NCAA was investigating the program over Nate Miles. It was excessive and seems ridiculous now but I believe he was head of the rules committee or something like that when he made hundreds of calls knowingly breaking the rules and he compounded things by lying about all of it. Then to do it again when he was coach at Indiana was bonkers.5 years for phone calls. So this is payback……good for him. I am rooting for them more now that I was reminded how stupid it all was.
I know (sigh). I have been lamenting this all season but even moreso when he was torching Ashworth and Creighton and then Michigan. Not getting outbid on Pettiford would have changed this season exponentially. He's exactly what we were missing offensively
Didn't UConn recruit him?I've watched a few Auburn games and just don't recall Caldwell being so active or such a monster.
I love watching Cardwell play. He knows his role and makes winning plays as a glue guy and energy and hustle player.Good thing Broome has a week to heal. Don't know if Auburn really needs him to close this one out.

Yes he's the recruit of the infamous reports of him being on campus for a visit all weekend with a bunch of insiders weighing in, then it came out a few days later he was never even on campusDidn't UConn recruit him?
I picked Auburn in my pool to go to the Final Four but I'm not rooting for them. Just can't do it.
why? I have nothing against auburnif there’s an Auburn Duke final we will have officially experienced the antithesis of a threepeat
Yes, he violated NCAA rules, but at this point in time, how much worse of an offense were his behaviors than those of people who post on this forum in super high volumes?Multiple times.
It's not unlike Few not winning a National Championship - something missing that people will remember. Either could change the final disposition, though the landscape keeps changing, and the years keep piling up.Feels like Barnes ceiling - which isn’t a bad thing.
