Jim Steinman was living in CT when he died.In my opinion, this was the greatest songwriting of all time. A lyric like, "Living in a powder keg and giving off sparks" will never be topped.
Incidentally, it's a song written by Jim Stineman, who also wrote Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light", among others. Quite the contrast. The songwriting world lost Stineman only 2 or 3 years ago.
Didn't know that. I was born in Hartford and raised in Granby and mostly West Simsbury. It's a small world.Jim Steinman was living in CT when he died.
