I’ve been watching them this afternoon on ESPN3. They looked good at the start of the game. Unfortunately, the offense hasn’t been able to move the ball down field in second half. Hopefully they come out playing after the delay.

2000 NCAA Tourney vs. Iowa State and the program never went higher.
EMU isn't a world beater, but that would have out CCSU on notice that it could win big game.

Brutal loss. I'm a CCSU alum too, so I feel your pain. Also been closely attached to UConn football since their FBS jump, so we've gotten used to misery & futility around here the last 8-9 years or so. Pull up a barstool - you always got a home here.

If ever there was a loss that summed up being a CCSU fan this was it. CCSU can hold their heads high after this one. They shouldn’t have been in the game to begin with. The NEC is arguably the worst FCS conference. They should have won, sure, but the fact that they were able to hang with an FBS team, granted from the MAC, shows that they are a good program. UConn/CCSU match up should be a good one in a couple years. Who woulda thought...

Statistically, it could be one of the worst blown games in college football history. There are probably less than a dozen games in the last 150 years that have ended like that.
I happened to be at a similar choke job in 2008 - Oregon loses to Stanford. They had a 94% win percentage with 0:40 in Q4
