Was heartbroken at the 1990 game, then after 77-74 thought it was close to even. Then I went to final four in San Antonio and with that comeback thought revenge was complete. Nope another one for the good guys.

just want to say that. This is what CBS was hoping to get for their showcase elite 8 game. Two blue blood programs going down to the last half second.

The game had everything you could want if you are casual college basketball fan. Big time players making big time plays. An epic comeback a last second shot. This could go down as one of the greatest elite 8 games ever.

As a UConn fan oddly enough I was strangely calm. I was more nervous during the close of the Michigan st game than I was during this game.

Finally the elite 8 demons in Washington have been washed away.

Ding dong the devils are dead.

“Now that we’ve had more time to process yesterday’s loss, I’m trying to “reframe” things. While I still lean toward this being a disappointing season, maybe I should be more appreciative.

If AK, Solo, Stew, and Ross never became what we expected, if Silas, Malachi, and Braylon didn’t adjust as quickly as others in the past (e.g., Cam), maybe we should be impressed that this team managed to overcome their weaknesses so many times. They played well in the early OOC games, struggled to win in a weak BE, and somehow managed 30 victories. So, “well done” maybe?”
