Suffice it to say that Skyler must have spent a good 20 minutes out there with the fans, rather than just hitting the showers. Same thing with Evers and multiple others. Super classy stuff...

Signature win. The best since Ptt and West Virginia in 2010. These endorphins will last for awhile. About twice as good as the Fenway Bowl which itself was incredible. We parked at the aircraft club and the number of cars there foreshadowed what we would find inside the Rent. Electricity.

After finishing tailgating and arriving inside The Rent in 2Q to use the johns, some people only allocate time for a quarter or 2 before beelining back to tailgating. /s

Skyler Bell is as good as any wide receiver out there in college football today. His numbers prove that, and his yards after catch are tops in the nation. I know he is not mentioned with others, but he should be, just as Joe Fagnano should be mentioned more, given his stats, which are as good as anyone's.
UConn is fortunate to have both of them.

Agreed! My teenage son got selfies and shook hands with a number of Huskies - Moa, Parker, Flowers, etc. After half an hour, most players were off the field but Skylar was STILL around mid-field taking pics and signing programs/jerseys for a mob of fans with a smile on his face the entire time.

What ends up being huge is the great play by the holder on the bad snap for Freeman's 29-yard field goal. Without that maybe we're going into the dreaded overtime again.

The kick holder being punter Connor Stutz who IIRC also caught a high snap before a punt. Both Stutz and Freeman have been huge, and will be missed after this season.

Was it me or did Dook do a lot of tackling below the knees? I know it’s not illegal but pretty weak IMO

Way more low hits at the knees than any other game this year. Very concerned about Juice. Not sure what happened to Ben but he looked "woozie" leaving the field.

Jim Calhoun had a motto of be careful of what you wish for. A most wonderful game day experience today. My voice is gone for a day or two. Many comments above relating to Joe and Bell. I want to hand out kudos to the O line that gave them time to execute the plays.
Same for D line, they all did the job today! A most wonderful day at The Rent.

Was the best atmosphere in the Rent since the early 2010s... now hopefully we can keep some of the occasional/first-time fans coming back to get things back to when that was the usual experience.
