If winning doesn't matter what the heck is the point of showing up?
It does. The big point of contention is that the "bench Evers" side thinks JF gives us a better chance to win. I don't. While each has differing skill sets, I think its a wash. So play the younger guy you want to develop. However, if it becomes clear JF gives us a better chance to win now, then I'd make the switch.

Sure, I guess, by someone in your field, but do you really think this random group of jamokes would recognize it? Unless your dissertation topic was "Why My Name is Steve Wilson" or something similarly identifying.

I was curious because it fascinates me that this group of idiots that share the same passion are actually often pretty accomplished in the real world.
That's the power of Pine-Sol graduating from a public Ivy nationally ranked#58 school. Loved your use of the word jamokes, haven't heard that in a while in my current digs. That word and jabroni need to be used more to describe others who think we need to drop to FCS.

For those that watched the game, did Evers seemed rattled by Puke's defense? I would've preferred Fagnano start due to how he handled Merrimack, but if Evers seemed to handle a stingy Puke D okay, maybe this was the game he needed to gut though rather than a cake walk through Merrimack. Monday morning coaching analysis makes me think they both got the games they needed to give themselves confidence versus future opponents.

Based on not much viewing to go on... it appeared to me that JF threw more accurately. I didn't like the rollout throws that NE seems to be saddled with, and also wasn't a fan of him in the pocket. Also thought the 2 trick play throws with JF were terrible calls. Going the wrong way and throwing across his body is a bad move. If they really want a trick play, how about Honig throwing? He started out as a qb, and is supposed to have a big arm.

I agree with the trick plays. They should be much more rare surprises, and come out of normal sets. Lining a QB in the slot kind of ruins the surprise.

JF's accuracy may be a bit better right now than NE's, but I think that could be a function also of the competition/lack of pressure he went against vs. Merrimack. I've seen NE deliver some nice balls in tight spaces already under more pressure. Also JF's release is slower, and sometimes he misses very open receivers terribly. Add in NE's running ability and I think either gives us the same chance to win right now. Therefore, play the guy you want to develop.

.-.
No more FGs. Outside 37 yards go on 4th down if it is under 10 yards to readhThis is a thing Mora is gonna have to understand. There is no competent kicking game.
We had a kicker in the early Big East days who looked like he would be awful. I think he even cost us a game with a chip shot miss. The he hit one to start it rolling in the right direction. Kickers are a strange breed. I hope this kid hits one and finds his rhythm too

Nuzie... yeah, he had some real dodos in 2004 but came good in later years. I don't know much about the kicker nonsense that's going on and I'm willing to believe Mora made a shit bet

He seemed less rattled than he did against Maryland but he gets quick feet and throws off his back foot too much when there is pressure.
