I thought so at first too, but then why did Mcbride fall to the floor?

Would have to see the replay again to be sure, but typically the defenders legs are not shoulder width when trying to draw the charge - they're out a fair bit. Guessing Listons leg was in the path.

In any event, the replay clearly showed Liston falling backward as a result of-----air (nothing).

I'll watch it again when ESPN posts the game for replay. That's sure what it looked like on the TV replay. Ref might have had a bad angle.

How on earth did Williams go from Freshman of the Year to this? She's almost a non-factor. Announcers were commenting on her terrible free throw form earlier too. Weird.

Goodness. Mabry is just deadly from deep.

Then Loyd with an athletic putback.

And a very nice runner from Mabry. Irish scoring at will the last few trips.

I've always been impressed by Mabrey's shot but she is slow.

If you keep a body on her, her effectiveness will be limited

If Louisville and Duke both finish with around 4 losses, could Louisville get the 1 seed?

ND is looking really good, but Duke would, too, if they made more of their shots.

ND shooting 56%. Duke 35%. If both were equal, Duke would be winning.

Looks like another "learning experience" for the Dookies.

Since 49-44, nd gone on 13-2 run. Duke looks done.

Yeah, Duke doesn't have enough scoring. Missed a lot of shots and didn't guard the ND threes. Tough when you lose a major player to injury.

It's time to switch to NC-Miami. Much closer game.

No way.

Louisville has just 2 quality wins -- LSU and Oklahoma.
Duke has beaten Cal, Purdue, Oklahoma, Kentucky. And if it beats everyone besides ND, it will also have wins over nc st, unc, unc, and md.

Not even close.

There is absolutely no guarantee that Duke only finishes with losses to ND. They have a couple of tough games left and just almost lost to Miami.

Louisville is the better team. Much better coached.

And it's not even close.

I have to agree to an extent. She's a perfect example of what kind of production they are getting from her at Duke vs. what kind of production we'd be getting from her at UCONN...

But in Duke's defense, they are without Grey AND Wells...

Miami is no slouch. They are up 6 over #6 UNC late in that game.

Edit - let me rephrase that. Miami has a craptastic record (11-10 or something) but has played the top teams in the ACC really tough lately. Maybe they got some players back from injury? Or maybe they are just really getting it together?

I thought it was a joke last year, when all the so-called experts of the game were stating E. Williams as the the best center in wcbb. Really ? She is light years behind Dolson in every aspect of the game. I thought they played better in first half without her

Would love face Duke in our region or in the semis (provided they make the FF, which is iffy at this point.)

Something of a blowout, isn't it. I've been following the play by play on ESPN.
