We basically own them head to head. During JCs tenure he built a better program and beat the guy they’re going to throw parades for all year. F them still can’t stand the Blue Devils, can’t lose enough his last year. Great great coach but not as good as ours, still the promotions this year will be vomit worthy. And the calls that he already gets will double, it will be painful to watch.

We are kindred spirits. I was a little younger but that one single moment did it for me.

Laettner’s probably one of the best college players of all time and I respect his game, but that shot was a dagger through my heart at the time.

I was at UConn at the time. What a two game sequence. The Thursday night game with Tate hitting the buzzer beater that electrified the campus compared with 2 days later the air just rushed out of the balloon after that shot. As we all recall Tate had an easy steal bounce off his hands just prior. As soon as that happened I had the sense we would lose. Still get sick to my stomach thinking about it.
