the women have lost their mojo. gone are the days of one dominating team after another and now 8 straight years without a championship. that's an eternity for them.
on a side note, probably better they lose by 2 tonight than to get totally crushed by SCar like they always do.

There’s much more parity now and more talent plus better distribution of the top players. Probably better for the game as a whole but not for UConn obviously.

He’s been T’d up in close games before. He didn’t like the result.
With that call at end, he should have gone absolutely bat crap and refused to get off the floor until they showed up with handcuffs. You can’t let your team get literally robbed like that. I was surprised how he rolled over.

Not really, about the mojo. They are still pretty good especially considering the bad fortune of the injuries they have had. It is unrealistic to think that kind of dominance is automatic. More importantly, UConn dominating was not good for the sport, as many fans tuned out. Everyone must eat. That is what was decided. That is what we are seeing. It is working, as the women's game has reached unprecedented heights. $$$$ > the game

The days of Uconn and Tennessee dominating were terrible for anyone outside of Connecticut and Knocksvillle.

The women were robbed. They had a chance to win at the end stolen by the refs. There's no other story here, that was the game, which is a shame because it overshadows what was a pretty good game.

The refs were in Iowa's pocket all half and they decided to assert themselves to decide the game at the end. An absolute joke.
All half? Whole game. Nikas first foul was absolute trash. Kk I’ll say plays a bit “excited” as does ice, but Clark was shook and strolled along with a ton of push offs including in her 4pt play. This was so obvious to the casual fan

They just played a Final Four game with a seven player rotation and five players out for the season. Final Four. That banner, like Paige said earlier this week, means a lot. They’ll literally be about 10 deep next year. Relax.

I was responding to a post about them still having a chance
They rebound the Clark FT and call TO, still had probably 2 seconds to get off a 3. And they could have qdvnsced the ball to half court. Owell
