In his sophomore season he average 14.1 ppg and 7.1 rpg and 2.9 bpg

7 footer

Personally I think we need another big man. Especially now that sid is leaving. I have lots of confidence in Whaley, but not so much carlton. I also understand springs and javonte are coming in, but they’re young. I think roberts might be a good big man to show interest in.

I don’t think we see another big in this year’s incoming class (that’s including Sanogo or Etienne).

Robbins will probably end up at a Midwest school anyways.

We have 4 bigs + Akok. That is 5 total, I think. We don’t need another big

Well Hurley said he would

When did Hurley say that. That injury is a year recovery then you have to get into game shape and get all the rust off.

Extremely optimistic view to say he definitely plays next year

He said he expects him to be ready for conference play

Who knows what kind of impact the coronavirus is having on Akok’s access to trainers and the rehab process, but Hurley said this a few weeks ago:

Good pont on the virus impact, really has to do with every player and being ready for September. But certainly Akok and Polley with both requiring rehab attention from professionals.

I know he’s aiming for Big East play. I’d be surprised if that actually happened. I sure hope I’m wrong.
