If they can't bring focus into that game at this point in the year, how can you expect them to bring "focus" to any other game? If anything, they looked confused. Great teams aren't scampering for focus in March.

At the time it was definitely not. This was the last game of the year against a last place team to tie for the BE title, and maintain a one seed.

No one question’s how bad the loss was on Sat. St. John’s lost by 30 to us and looked inept then looked completely different the next time out. Past events aren’t always indicative of the future. I was pissed on Sat. but to think this team can’t win the BE tourney or play into the third weekend of the ncaa is crazy. They are favored for one and in the mix for the second. What else do you want? Maybe i am a homer but I like our chances on a neutral court vs just about anyone. I think Saturday was the outlier, not the 27-4 record.

What happened to Hurley was keeping something secret, like after the St John’s game? You don’t believe that anymore? In your mind, this loss wasn’t to keep that secret team initiative intact?
I think the only thing we have is that non-BE reffing frees up our offense a bit. I just haven't seen it working in a way where it would matter that much. Our offense KP 15 last year, 28 this. Even early in the OOC, it was our defense that was winning. Hassan actually ran the system better than Silas, and we had a lob threat last year. This year feels like we just have to hit threes, not turn ball over.
