A well-deserved loss imo: no intensity, no sense of urgency, absolutely abysmal shooting, and maybe too much time reading press releases. In essence, that was the story of the entire tournament for Oregon and, generally, for all of their games since the USA exhibition. One 30+ quarter. sometimes 2, and then skating through the remainder of the game: enough for an Oklahoma State or even a Syracuse, but not Louisville. Both Hebard and Ionescu have seemingly been on walkabouts all too often, with Sabally, and Moore the only players who seem to be awake for too much of too many games. Hardly the team Sue Bird praised earlier this fall. The only potential upside is that Oregon had a clunker like this at about the same time last year (Michigan State), and that wake up call worked. But, at this point, the team has a long way to go to get to the level at which they played last year.
