The Twain version recounted a trip aboard the ship Quaker City. Somehow I just can't picture Nika in Quaker garb. She is more Amy Fowler Cane at the end of the movie, not the peace and harmony lady at the start.

Does Dorka represent Felix Young? Nika fills the bill as Eugenia Munster! Henry James would have been enchanted by Nika. I can picture her in "The Turn of The Screw".
