Boy he was happy, given the Boatright situation.

Great win.

We played like we did in March - very efficient, patient and poised. I'm proud too.

Good win. Good to see a Big throw the ball in on the inbound plays. Nice adjustment from last game. Now this is 2 games in a row in which we effectively shut the 3 pt shot down in the 2nd half - when we extend our defense to mid court or 3/4 court.

With the guys we have on the back line, I would love to see them force teams to either drive to a pull up 2, take a bad 2, or risk getting stuffed. I think we have that luxury. Great win.

Our front court was altering shots like mad today and our offense was well executed all game. The team's starting to work itself out and Calhounis feeling it. Love it.

boy that's a great quote. people who criticize JC for his demeanor really don't pay enough attention and are simply looking for something stupid to say that they think is newsworthy. and i'm not so sure the 1st half was great, but the adjustments and performance in the 2nd half was spectacular.

Agreed however we won without Lamb as the number 1 or 2 scorer (which is amazing on the road). Great effort!

I mentioned this in another thread. The team needed JC to provide a guiding hand today and not the sledge hammer. And JC coached masterfully. He stayed calm and the players followed suit.

My favorite JC moment was at one point late, when Giffey threw away a pass, Jim took him out, and screamed at him for about two minutes straight. When he was finished, he sent Neils right back into the game. Made me laugh.

I caught that as well. What was funnier was the way Neils reacted to JC's rant. It was like "I know you're going to ream me so give me your best shot coach."

Yeah...looked to me like he was almost holding back a grin.

To quote Taliek Brown on JC's screaming..."That's just what he do!"
