Both my Grandfather and father had Alzheiners, my Grandfather was one of the first to ever be diagnosed with it, before that they just blamed it on aging. I would not want to have anyone go through it because my Grandfather had it for almost 5 years before he finally passed away. My father was a lot less, a little more than 2 years.

I'm sorry for you loses. Few know how disturbing that disease is to the "care givers" , usually family--the body is there --the person is missing.
