List included in John A's blog: http://www.courant.com/sports/uconn...hayes-on-wooden-list-20111010,0,1966625.story

Other sophomores on the list include Gray (Duke), Sims (Baylor), Ogwumike (Stanford), Thomas (Maryland) and Schimmel (Louisville).

As pointed out by Rich Elliott, the Big East leads all conferences with nine players on the list. Six players are from the ACC, four from the Big 12 and three each from the Big 10 and SEC.

The list will be updated in December and again in March.

congrats to our trio. i think there's a pretty good chance all of them will be on the updated lists in December and March. i think Tiff especially is going to have a really good year, but with the normal growth from freshman to sophomore year combined with the great experience they had with the USA team, i think Stef and Bria are going to have great years. i'm just so excited about this team. so much talent and depth.

I'm so proud of the freshman accomplishments resulting in 2 UConn sophomores being nominated.

I think all 3 were reported to be on the pre-season Naismith list a few weeks ago as well.

UConn and ND are the only teams with 3 players each on the list.

Stanford is the only team with 2 Ogwumikes on the list.

The 2013 draft is going to be strong at the top: Griner, Diggins, EDD, Sugar (could be a great pro) - and we don't even know who will breakout during their Jr and Sr campaigns, like 'Sloot did. Should be an awesome class

EDD could be in the 2012 or 2013 draft.

Yeah, that draft will be good, unlike the 2012 class which looks weak to start!

Did Alex Bentley transfer to Ohio State? ESPN page has her and Samantha Prahalis from Ohio State?? Probably just a typo!

I think Kelly may be the most underrated player in the country. I have more to say on this subject along with the wishlist topic.
definitely.. she's like a kalana green in the shadow of the big name players
