"The money will be split between the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and University of Michigan Athletics, and raises Ross' total giving to his alma mater to more than $313 million. The athletic campus is expected to be named the Stephen M. Ross Athletic Campus."

Wonder if he's coming to the Rent.

Apparently, this owner is bewildered that the residents of South Florida (who have been asked to raise $200m+ for the Phins stadium) are complaining about his "gift" to UM. He says, these things are totally separate.

I think they are separate. He can do whatever he wants with his funds. Taxpayer funded stadiums happen all the time...the folks of South Florida voted and they said no, thanks. Now they can keep their outdated stadium, forget their chance at Super Bowls..and forfeit any right to complain.

Ross has dumped boatloads of cash into the team and stadium already.....

I love the timing of his gift
