Another one of those freaking lucky arse shots went down for SU on Saturday. I think that has happened in pretty much every game we have lost this season.

In summary, if PC banks one in at the Dunk than we are in trouble.

It's laughable at this point. Although we did finally get ours on Saturday ...

I think Nova also banked one in. It must be the most banked three's against 1 team I have ever seen. When you are losing by 2-3 points it's got to feel like the gods are against you.

I felt like the Lamb bank-in could have finally turned the tables. But we still lost by two when the other team has a bank in three.

Obviously our D is deficient against the bank-in 3.

Without excusing our overall below talent level play at all, would it kill the basketball gods to give us a break just one game that gets us a win? Lucky shots going in for us? A call at the end of the game? Something?

I know you make your own breaks in life, but a little help please.

we did win a NC last year and got a few breaks along the way...

can't complain too much about the basketball gods, as we seemed to make our own luck a little bit better last year

I thought the bank-in 3 by Lamb on Saturday seemed to get him going offensively. Also, against Villanova, Roscoe hit one when UConn's lead was only one point, which I think was his 4th made 3 of the year.

That has been another killer this season: The guy who normally doesn't shoot threes or has a horrible 3 pt shooting percentage makes them against UConn.

Early in the Providence game, if the announcers mention that one of their outside shooters is in a huge slump, I will be worried.

Last year the basketball gods were certainly with us. This year, however, I'd take neutral in a heartbeat.

I think the Lamb banked in three has stopped the bad mojo of the bank in by opponents. If you think about the fact that Michael Carter-Williams hadn't played in the last three games for CUSE, hadn't scored in the last five and then came off the bench to bank in a three in the only shot he took well you can see why I think the day of the banked in three is over.

It can't get any worse than it has been. This is huge. They are starting a run now and you can all remember the Lamb banked in three as the starting point.

Yep, the three point miss at the end by Arizona was HUGE. The kid was wide open. The heavens smiled. It sent us to the final four. So, I don't mind these bank-ins as long as we win our next three.

There were plenty of others. The T against San Diego State. Derek Williams having his minutes limited with foul trouble. The crowd noise leading to the missed foul shot by Louisville. Butler coming through to the Final instead of someone we wouldn't want to play against. Jamal Coombs-McDaniel getting an offensive rebound. Chuck becoming an entirely different basketball player in the post-season than he was all season long.

I understand and accept that we may have some payback coming for everything going right last year. But I don't need to like it
