Saw a tweet that he's got 102 threes this year. Most Bird ever had in a whole season was 98. That cant be right.

I know we've had one of these threads recently, but damn, 28pts in the third quarter. He had to have sold his soul to the devil. Had to.

And we had a bunch of posters here trying to claim Ray Allen is a better shooter than him, lol. Curry is the best shooter ever and it's not even close.

I do have 2 years but my 5 to play 4 has run dry, sorry!

Oh damn you meant that Curry. Yeah he's ok.

Check Kemba at the 2 minute mark, funny reaction:

What Steph did to Kemba last night isn't right.... not to mention Kemba had 4 points...

I think Shuttlesworth still has about 15,000+ points on him but Curry is certainly on pace to pass him handily.

Kemba's first half was already rough, in that 3rd quarter he got vaporized. The only thing missing was Kemba wearing the Apollo Creed American Dream shorts.

I'm only a casual NBA observer, but this season has seemed like one long Steph Curry highlight package. He's become like Pedro from 98-01, appointment/must-see TV.

He's averaging the most WS/48 of all time and 2nd in Offensive Box +/- ever for this season.

Curry is pretty much a player that you create in a video game and give him 99 ratings in every thing and just shoot 3's and put the difficulty on easy, thats what its like for Steph Curry right now.

For all the points he scores, I've read numerous people say he's a bad defender. Sometimes I wonder how many net points he puts up for them, but don't care enough to find out

Those people would be wrong. This year he has an ORtg of 128 and DRtg of 99. Meaning he is responsible for nearly 30 net points every 100 possessions.

I think Curry is an OK defender but I wonder the extent to which he's being propped up on that end having Klay/Dray/Iggy/Bogut/Ezeli

He improved 2-3 years ago to the place he is now, which is pretty average. Having Draymond, Bogut, and the scheme helps, and he's never guarding the other team's best. But he doesn't hurt you at the end like say James Harden.

If Steph stays on his current pace of 5.3 3PG, he will have more 3 pointers in the past 2 seasons than Larry Bird had in his entire career.

Holy . That is mind boggling. Seriously.

I love me some Ray Ray, but Steph almost makes him and Reggie Miller look ordinary. I don't see a Ricky Moore type in the NBA who can handle this guy.

His highlights are getting mundane, and that's a compliment.
