I go to a lot of Celtics games and I don't think Rivers is a good coach. He had Garnett, Pierce, and Allen and won a championship. He got to another finals and lost. I could have coached that team to a championship. What else has he done? I don't think the Bucks made a good move. Maybe I'll be proven wrong. We'll see.

Basically Big Baby Davis said Rivers gave too many minutes to the old vets in Game 7 of the Celtics-Lakers Finals in 2010.

Lots of people out there aren't big fans of Doc. But GMs/Presidents seem to love a retread in every sport.

His favoring of starters so far is alarming, but it's only been two games, he's still learning his roster....
Look how many minutes they're all got last night. I think what's also alarming is how bad the bench played. Look at the +/-.....could be another way for Dre to get an opportunity more quickly.

I was worried for AJ's playing time when I saw that switch happen. I hope that he is taking it in stride....but that's gotta be tough when he got used to playing some significant minutes for a rookie.

This is basically what everyone was worried about on Jackson's behalf when Doc's hiring was announced, and it's really sad that it's taken only two games for the conclusion to be "yup, we were right."

Don’t care for the man. Likes to think we care what he thinks outside of basketball. Can’t lose enough for me. Overrated by many.
Thought he did a decent job with Maxi. Limited run initially, and then more and more as he adjusted to the game.
