I don't think anyone's blaming the DJ for anything, other than being annoying, and I don't think that blame is misdirected at all.
you need to re-read some of the posts

I went to the UM-Illinois game this year. Cold, and rained all day. Blow out, UM wins 45-0. 90,000 people in the stands at the end.
I have this nagging sense of doom that the game doesn't get played in East Hartford. Hope not.
Not when I was there. Crowd started leaving with 8 minutes left.
ZIINNNNG!Sounds great. Just put your mic on mute.
If we didn't have the DJ half the stadium would be asleep and and wouldn't know when to cheer. I could give a **** if he stays or goes. If we were going bowling after an 8-4 season this discussion doesn't take place, IMHO.
I just wish they'd go back to cranking up a song when the players come on the field. The band thing doesn't work for me.
The Living on a Prayer thing caught me off guard last week. That was pretty cool. That needs to continue.
By the way, **** Michigan fans. Do you really think if the DJ was not there they'd think any differently about us? Their bathrooms are bigger than our stadium. They will pump their chests and move on. We will be an after thought a week after they come in and humiliate us.
Though I want in on record that I think we will win.
Michigan fans leave games way early.
We can tell them their own alum did it. Perfect. I don't doubt DJ Dogpound's fanhood. He managed to turn our stadium into a "club". We're coming out more "Jersey Shore" than New Jersey. If people want to criticize Warde for anything, hiring DJ Dogpound should be at the top of the list.
By far his biggest failure as an AD so far.
Having been to the big house, our stadium's nicer, just a whole lot smaller.
They basically allow each fan 3/4s of a seat. Unbelievably uncomfortable.
Since we don't sell games out, we have plenty of room to stretch our legs and elbows. If we ever actually sold 40,000, we'd be just as uncomfortable.
There was not one change made to our craptastic game day experience. I at least expected Warde to make changes there but it was the same DJ blitz, commercial overload, Kisscam crap.If people want to criticize Warde for anything, hiring DJ Dogpound should be at the top of the list.

We have a great band. It needs to have a signature first down tune (like USC's) and be allowed to play more during breaks. And DJ Joey needs to go

Give the Meadowland's thing a rest already. Not gonna happen. Just do your part and fill a seat at the Rent. That's all you can do. That's all any of us can do to help this program. If we move the game to the Meadowlands we can get the NY exposure for Uconn and give our esteemed DJ a much deserved sabbatical. This is called killing two birds with one stone.
