Had to walk 3mph from my kitchen to my family room. Took 5 seconds. Given that it was basically a rout, I'm glad I didn't do the drive from Hamden even if it turned out the roads weren't so bad. The hilly area where I have to get to usually is rough during a storm even if the main roads are being handled okay. Seems like Temple didn't get to the game either. More power to you true diehards (crazy people).

The roads were very slippery and snow covered up Rt. 44 but no problems and drove about 40 mph to Simsbury. Very glad I went but fully understand peoples apprehension.

It was 78 here yesterday .Kind of warm for January
I don't miss driving in the ice and snow. I stay here year round except about 5 weeks in Woodburyi in June and again in August or Sept. This year maybe as late as early October.
Leave one kid behind when you retire. You will always have a place to stay.

I actually had no problem driving except for the other idiots on the road.

I wouldn't say no issue you had to be careful, but at least we had a strip of practically bare pavement going home. One good piece of karma, the clown in the SUV going too fast passing cars in the right emergency lane ended up driving off the road and looked stuck.

No problems here. I thought the roads were in better shape going home than coming in.

2 hours 15 minutes to get there (normally a 40 minute drive). Three quick beers and in time for the opening tip. The way home was much easier as 84 had tire tracks w/bare pavement back to exit 15.

If there is someone who didn't get home safely (and I hope there isn't)..... They aren't posting a response to this thread on the Boneyard.

Strange storm.

At my house, we got about 1/2" of snow - a dusting, really.

At my office an hour south, 13".
