I think the assumption is the Messiah also known as Paige Bueckers, coupled with the rest of their recruiting class, will mean the Huskies will be the presumptive favorites over the next 3-4 seasons, which coincides with Tara's recent big recruiting hauls. I'm not sure I entirely disagree, but it relies on assumptions about health, transfers, etc., that are always hard to predict years out.

As for me it isn't so much the freshmen but the maturing of the rest of this year's team that has me confident. Remove Dangerfield and add Bueckers/Westbrook as replacement pg's and UConn suddenly becomes both long and deep.
Just think how confident (and cocky) you would be if Tara had won 11 titles since Geno won his last one?
