Thought he had a decent shot at staying at Nebraska as nutrition specialist or pep squad organizer. Might need to take a pay cut but probably a better fit.

The man was the Assistant Coach of the Year. He helped his linebacker recover from the devastating loss of his fake girlfriend. He introduced us to the concept of "pre-season" regular season games. He single-handedly fought energy vampires in this state. And I know that more than one person in CT must have looked up what goes into a fish cake after he talked about how he likes to make a fish cake.

He deserves some respect.

So almost the entire staff of UCF goes to Nebraska. Why is no one asking who is gonna coach UCF in the bowl game? It is one thing for a head coach to leave and one of the coordinators steps up temporarily. But the whole staff? Who's left to coach UCF in the bowl? Or am I missing something?
It was reported that all of the assistants that are leaving for Nebraska will coach. the bowl game before leaving.

The staff is staying through the bowl game though they have a foot oit the door
I feel bad for the student athletes in this case. One heck of a season. 12-0 record, conference championship and a bowl game and they're left with nothing but each other before their season even ends. Sad.

Welcome to the real world.

He'll either coach LBs at a relatively high level (B1G school or something similar) or get a DC job at a crappy MAC school
I would imagine that B1G schools are going to stay away following the Nebraska flop.

And his red pants fit in so well with his Husker wardrobe. What a shame.
