If he's projected to be a first rounder then I think it would be a pretty bad decision.

Return for a year to finish 4th in the Big East and flame out in the 1st round of the tourney, giving NBA scouts another year to pick at his flaws and age and possibly play himself out of the 1st round? Sign me up.

I like this, selfishly. Carter would get drafted in the late first round most likely. I love his game and the all out effort he brings to the court. Would love to see him and a healthy Hopkins together for a full season. Unfortunately they play for Providence.

Just waiting for this to be related to some NIL merch he’s trying to cash in before he bounces to the NBA.

Isn't he projected to be a top 20 pick? You'd think Kim English would want him to go to the NBA to start his NBA player pipeline so he can sell to recruits

Man this would be so awesome for the conference and PC. Helps to have a dad who spent a decade in the league.

He’s a competitor and it must be very hard for his last season to end like it did

But….that would be a stupid decision. He has first round money in front of his face that will likely not be there next year being a year older and with a reduced role after Hopkins’ return

Would be insanely dumb. He would go in the first and this may be the only year that is the case. This years draft is not great, next years is projected to be MUCH stronger.

I respect the idea and it would be great for the team and league for next season but long term the best thing for PC and English is having a kid go from being a 2nd round maybe to a first rounder. Something you can tell recruits for years.

For PC and the BE I would love it, though I still dislike PC fans by and large.

He’s gotta go. Not only is he ready, but he plays really hard and takes quite a bit of contact. Too much risk of injury for a guy like him. I don’t see any way he gets advised to return to PC.

He is at his ceiling I believe go while you can make some dough. I don’t think he does enough improvement to change his draft ranking.

Devin stuck his foot in his mouth a bit too early. The laughing emoji makes it appear he wasn’t pulling for his BE brethren.
