They throwback uniforms, honoring Dick Vitale who coached the team from 1973 to 1977 and was at the game tonight. But yes, they're ugly.

Marquettes untucked uni's in the late 70's were nice and unique. The Butch Lee, Bo Ellis, Jerome Whitehead, Bernard Toone and Jimmy Boylan team which won the NC in 77 I believe were fun to watch and "got away with those uni's" back then!!
