The NBA doesn't draft everyone based on making a difference on day one.He needs to get bigger, stronger and quicker if he is gong to make a difference on day one.

Makes me think of Bouknight. He scored 40 in a game and he was gone.Mullins is going to have a half where he scores 20 (or close). It will just happen because it can. They have been scouting this kid since he was a sophomore. The NBA knows what he is.
Yes, this is my point though. Out best teams spread the assists around. Castle, Spencer, Jackson, multiple facilitators. Mullins is under 1 per game. Ball is 1.5. Reed and AK both at 2 fortunately. We have enough assists per game at 18, right on par, but I'd like to see more guys involved. If Silas runs into a very strong defender, I'm worried where the assists come from. All due respect, but Demary is leading the Big East in assists per game and is #26 in the nation in assist%. Smith is a touch behind at #61. In 2024, Newton was at #49 and Diarra was #421
I hear you, but we also have a backup PG in Smith who has about as many assists as Silas when adjusted for minutes played, we haven't had that the last few years. If Silas gets bottled up, Smith can either play beside him or sub for him and give his defender a different look. Also, even thought they may not have the APG numbers, several of the players on the team pass (no pun intended) the eye test with respect to being able to see and make good passes, and even Ball seems to be improving in that respect. I think Mullins will also as he integrates more into the offense, he's too smart and good not to, although his job is to score, not assist.Yes, this is my point though.
