DePaul over Louisville

Feels great to be a UConn fan again! Ranked, and looking toward the start of BE conference play — with multiple ranked teams, and loaded with endless opportunities. Gone are the AAC days where do live or die on a few early non-conference games, followed by a conference full of endless RPI killers.

Freeman-Liberty, their leading scorer, was 2-15 from the field and they still won.
Kid has to run for president with that name.

First time seeing DePaul this year. They are fast. They can get sloppy, but they'll be a handful for our guys, seeing how a few of our guys get beat on the dribble. Have to sink more shots, get O bounds and limit transition opportunities.

Depaul had a "don't care" vibe under Leitao. The team clearly had some talent, but seemed stuck in the mud and was not bothering to get out. They needed a new coach. Watch out down the road if Stubblefield can recruit because Chicago is one of the best places for talent in the country.

If we’ve been watching our team closely the Big East will be a brawl night in night out. And quite honestly we’re not sure our guys know how to close. Will be interesting to see if they are actually a Top 25 team and find a way to consistently play like one.

On one hand I am happy for the conference that DePaul is good. On the other hand I enjoyed two annual easy wins.
That is what Georgetown is for.

That is what Georgetown is for.

And, they should be that way for a few more years....until AD Lou Reed senses the fans and alums fully and unequivocally support replacing the school legend he hired a little over 4 years ago.

66-63 record, plus roster turnover and discipline issues. Will be interesting to watch how Reed handles it:
