I thought he looked like Bazz too but his release is faster. Napier was a great high school player but this kid looks a little further along in terms of his size and strength than Bazz was. Either way, if he’s really a lights out shooter, with a release that quick, he’d be a God send here. .

Looks pretty similar stylistically to JJ Starling, who we haven’t heard anything on recently. Love the look of this kid’s jumper. He also put up big numbers for Gil St. Bernard’s this year. Anglin has the feel of an under the radar stud to me.

This kid is HIGHLY underrated. In the 7 games they have stats for he put up 27.8ppg, 4.7 rpg, 6.7 apg.

Standout performances vs some good teams too.

28/5/5 vs Patrick School
30/5/10 vs Watchung
33/5/7 vs Bergen
25/5/8 vs Don Bosco

Sheesh, is it his size that's holding him back from rankings? This is why rankings are odd sometimes.

Probably size. He looks great and he puts up huge numbers against very good competition. I have no issue with a smallish guard that can play. We have bigger shooting guards/wings coming in to help and he’s really not that small anyway. He’s at least a real 6’.

Yes, please. Love the quick release. Love the catch-n-shoot. No idea if he can pass, handle, or defend at all though.

I see those Napier comps in his game but MAN his release is quick and smooth. Little Carsen Edwards but taller? He has a really nice J and it looks like he has a feel for the game too.

Catch and shoot sniper .. Didn't see him making many passes to teammates.. Just kidding

Always room for shooters.

Hard pass.
-Gets his shot off so quickly the defense won't get tired chasing him;
-Makes shots look so easy his teammates will stand around watching;
-Makes too many shots, our games won't be as exciting as last few years;
--One dimensional, no dunks over the opposing big men;
-Too tall compared to KW, RB and SN.

.-.
Wide shoulders, and you can't stop what you can't catch.

Also... 3 full games here on the school's youtube channel. I'll try to get some stats on it after work today. Best game should be vs don bosco if I'm not mistaken--they have a 5* underclassmen.

Edit:

Also this one vs Bergen--another solid team. Don Bosco, TPS, and Bergen were some of the best in jersey this year.

He really has great balance on his shot. Granted we are watching highlights but everything he is doing looks like it translates to college. My only question is he a PG, SG or combo?
