Demary and Stewart Offically Out Today

I absolutely knew this was going to happen.

Every freaking big game we have something like this come out of the clouds.

After the season, clear out the training staff right down to the paint of the walls of the training room. Bring in an entirely new group.

Maybe they’re just unlucky, but I don’t care. They are bad juju.

I mean, the training staff didn’t awkwardly pull Demary down by his jersey…

He also stayed healthy all year, despite a heavy workload. Just terrible luck.

We can win this without him. Strategically saving him for Sunday and UCLA? I wish Millender got more than garbage time this year. He is a serviceable point guard,

I was mocked for suggesting he should have gotten some time, so brace yourself.
My point was he has experience and was a high percentage three point shooter so why bring him here and not play him at all?
Of course, he could be the story of this year's tournament if he plays well and helps lead us to SEVEN!

Don’t know what happened to Jaylin’s knee but to be fair, Silas is out because Zuby Ejiofor pushed him in the back mid air on a layup and then clotheslined him across the face to send him down on his ankle and injure it. Nothing our training staff could do there

Not sure what % Silas is feeling. Hopefully 100% because Donovan Dent is a matchup that can go off at any time. Has has an overall rough season vs expectations but did put 23 on MSU’s head not too long ago. So not much choice but to have Silas play if he can walk

If people understood what the trainers have to deal with they wouldn’t bash them.
Anyone who has ever sprained their ankle will tell you that day 1, it doesn't feel that bad, but day 2 or 3 when the ankle blows up is when the real injury becomes apparent.

Sunday is the kind of game where unless you are crippled, you get out there. Wrap it, numb it - season is in the line and it’s not a 15 seed.
I think he gets out there at minimum.

Agreed, but we don’t know his exact level of injury. I worry that he gets out there, can’t defend and gets torched. Same with Stew. They both would have rust to shake off and no time to do it.
Silas came here to quarterback a highly rated team and I think he is desperate to get out there.

Praying Demary is good to go Sunday....if not Malachi just holding his own and not turning the ball over might be just enough if Ball & Mullins shoot even mediocre.

I would imagine that Demery "could" have gone if we had to have him. I think it was the right move to give him extra rest.

From what I understand I would probably hold Stewart till next weekend.

I hope you are correct about saving Demary for Sunday. I don't expect him to play Sunday. If he does and he can be at least 60-70% of himself I will be pleasantly surprised.

I think he'll play, albeit maybe not at his normal minutes. He told reporters before Furman he'd be ready.

Regardless of what anyone said this week, yesterday, today, or tomorrow I don't think 2 days is going to make the difference between medically unavailable and good enough to play.

He wasn't held out yesterday out of caution. It's just worse than people thought.
