I’m still curious why they call this school “ science academy”. I highly doubt quantum physics or molecular biology are in the cirriculum there. It is a prep school for BB players. Nothing wrong with that.

"Science" applies to more than the physics and biology classes you referenced (that aren't likely to be found at 99% of the high schools in the country). It is possible, even likely, that their method of teaching/learning involves the principles of "science", meaning it's probably evidence-based. One of the first/broadest definitions of science is simply the "the state of knowing". So perhaps by "Putnam Science Academy" what they're also saying is "Putnam Knowledge Academy".

I had to off the spell correct because I have my phone in Dutch, but I often write things in English as well as Dutch. Damn phone was driving me nuts changing English words to Dutch.
