Well they played better in the 2nd half. Fland with a bad turnover down the stretch down by a point.Florida looks terrible. Huskies better crush them next week.

Always hysterical.let me go read the UK message boards...
Worst team $22 million can buy. I've said it before but I don't know how the heck they could spend $22 million on that roster unless they were just throwing money at anyone who would take it.Always hysterical.
Man, this UK team has looked awful, for all that $$. Not sure JQ can even fix this.
Beyond the 22mm, what kind of culture are you building in that locker room just handing out huge checks to college kids? Are you getting kids that are in it for the right reasons?Worst team $22 million can buy. I hope this win gets Autry a 10+ year contract extension.Cuse playing for their season and the dome is a morgue.
Rupprafters are a bunch of lunatics 😂let me go read the UK message boards...
Great night for college basketball. Normally with a late game I'd watch TV with my wife before the game, but I just plopped down and turned basketball on at 7 and she got the hint and didn't even ask.Has there ever been such an impressive trio of early season games as last night with
Duke/Florida
Unc/Kentucky
Kansas/UConn
Especially considering how close all 3 were.
Anyone?
For a coach that supposedly runs great offensive actions, Mark Pope’s squad all just kind of stood around and watched the ball handler that second half. Really ugly basketball.
I think Pope needs to start getting his pipeline of HS kids in, has needed to go portal way too much these two years. Doesn’t strike me as a guy who is built to cultivate mercenaries. He is a great offensive coach. He, for some reason, recruited a team full of guys who don't fit his style at all. Like not at all. It was a horrid recruiting year for them, even worse bc of how much they spent on it.
Most sane people didn't want him fired and knew it would take him a few years. There was a huge improvement from Year 1 to 2 and it was very evident, granted year 1 was rough. But 2 was a fantastic leap.I am curious though, and hope to Uconn fans, that people stay humble and enjoy what they have.
Because I do remember times when Uconn was bad, couldn't make the tournament, and was basically non-existent. And I also remember Uconn fans acting like idiots and sounding just like the UK's, UNC fans when they are bad. I think there was a stretch when people wanted Hurley fired.
Heard the culture is terrible and the players don’t even like each other like that.Beyond the 22mm, what kind of culture are you building in that locker room just handing out huge checks to college kids? Are you getting kids that are in it for the right reasons?
I would actually enjoy Syracuse’s return to prominence.
But only for us to play them to put them back in their place afterwards
They've suffered long enough. It would be good to have another solid OOC NE team around to have some fun with.I'd love if they got back to what they used to be and we got a series going with them as a prelude to joining the conference.
Pope basically breaking down at the podium a couple games ago was a signal something is really off.Heard the culture is terrible and the players don’t even like each other like that.
Calipari will beat Louisville. Just this one game, he'll coach with an edge about him, would be very surprised if they don't play well.Well the ACC is acquitting itself much better this year in the ACC/SEC Challenge. Last year I think they only won 2 games. Louisville should handle Arkansas and I think NC State can beat Auburn. I don't see Clemson beating Bama.
There are more.Is it me, or are there more big-time OOC power battles this year than in previous years? Feel like every day there is a huge game between major teams.
The new shape of early season feels like it really gives you a crystallized view in what to expect in March, early. Where in the past, it was more of a guessing game into conference season. There are more.
By the end of this week, college basketball will have given us 36 ranked-on-ranked nonconference matchups through the first five weeks of the season.
Last year the total was 31. The year before that it was 28.

College basketball just had its best November ever. This needs to be the scheduling standard moving forward
The season debut of Matt Norlander's Court Report also power-ranks the Power Five (hello, ACC!) and has more info on the future of Players Erawww.cbssports.com
I remember when many of them said we will never win a title after down years in the AAC. Lol. Its funny how things turned.I'd love if they got back to what they used to be and we got a series going with them as a prelude to joining the conference.

Got to love Rupp Rafters wishing they could have Cal back because Cal beat Ville but Pope can't. That insane fanbase is going to make Pope wish he never left BYU. I don't know why anyone takes that job in today's portal world.Louisville getting destroyed by Arkansas
