St John’s is doing well, too, and has a win over #24 OK State.

Creighton’s schedule may have been too ambitious, especially after losing 6 players to graduation and Ronsiek to the transfer portal. They are very young this season

They lost Ronsiek last year. She wanted to play one year at CSU with her younger sister, who is still on the team.

Speaking of conferences, is there any truth to the rumor that because UConn lost Mora as head football coach, they are being recruited by the ACC to help elevate the football program, as well as a renewal of basketball old rivalries, and of course, have the ACC play its basketball tournament at MSG, giving them more media exposure?... I'm kind of torn. I like the idea, the matchups would be awesome, and seeing Miami, Louisville, Florida State, Notre Dame, and both Carolinas playing football in CT would be spicy, and the basketball matchups would be epic.

No, not one iota.

The ACC is highly unlikely to add any new members if/until key conference members get poached. That wouldn't happen until the lead up to the end of the current ACC contract in 2036.

I'm surprised Triad hasn't made an appearance here to congratulate me on Wake's start... yet, on that note, I fully expect reality to set in once the Deacs hit their ACC schedule starting next week.

That said, it's been a fun ride so far for a program that generally wallows in near obscurity, except nurturing the development of Jewel Spear a few years ago.

The map is a Mercator Projection. Land masses appear larger the further away they are from the equator. That is why we all grew up believing that Greenland was larger than Africa.

Tucson is in the southeast corner of Arizona and Tempe is near the center. It looks about right to me. Very little of Arizona is closer to Tucson than to Tempe or El Paso.
