My Briggs and Stratton is garbage. It's the old Tecumsah engines that were bulletproof.

I believe the Arians AX series engines are made in China thru LCT. LCT ended up with Tecumseh's intellectual property. B&S went to Private Equity in 2020?. Kind of murky what came from where and the who with these engines. I had carb solenoid or float failures on rider lawn mowers, so I always place a valve in the fuel line before the carb if it does not have one and make sure it off after shutting it down to prevent gas getting into the oil. the Arians I have has one installed by the manufacturer and i shut that off. after use. Yeah, I think B&S has suffered some.
