Good spot for him to go too. Toronto took a crazy flier on their first round pick, so there is a good chance Daniels not only makes the roster but makes the rotation

Great spot. They only have Terrence Ross and John Salmons as small forwards and Salmons is aging. Plus their four men like Amir Johnson and Hansrough aren't redundant. He will have a good chance to stick.

Toronto took a guy who they said would be 2 years away..... In 2 years. And this guy was taken before Bazz.

Good for DD. Though going to TO means I'll probably never see him on TV again.

Believe it or not, that account is from the Syracuse Post-Standard. Too bad the horde aren't fanbois and fangals like this.

The Toronto Raptors take UConn's DeAndre Daniels with No. 37 pick. Because Daniels woke up and played good in about 8 games.

Losers.

they can tweet about CJ Fair sitting in the stands at Barclays and going undrafted now

Damn i forgot about CJ. Cuse has more undrafted top 100 players than anyone else, I would guess at this point.

DD kinda screwed himself… you don't leave early to go #37. With another solid year he could have easily cracked the 1st round and maybe lottery territory with a ridiculous year. He did himself a disservice by going out early and not getting that guaranteed money..

Or he could have stayed and shown the inconsistency he has shown during his career at UConn and been drafted even later, if, at all.

The NBA doesn't look too fondly at 23/24 year olds in the draft. Just ask Sean Kilpartick. DD is 22 and it was time to make the jump. He landed in a good spot and will collect a nice paycheck.
