Gonna have a domino effect with the other top bigs in the class. Kansas will have to go all-in on Billy Preston, while UK will have to go even harder for Bamba and Richards.

Basically, this makes it slightly harder for us to get either Bamba or Richards.

based on what I've been seeing here, prior to taking it with a grain of salt, I have been only considering bamba at this point. Richards seems less likely.

I'm just happy any time a top kid commits to a school that isn't UK, Duke, Kansas or UNC. Feel like everything on 247 has the top kids favored for Duke or UK lately.

in this case a commit to UK could help us.

The crystal ball strikes again. From earlier today:

A highly skilled 7-footer, Ayton has been viewed as a heavy Kansas lean throughout his recruitment. The Jayhawks have 94 percent of his Crystal Ball predictions.

And 6% to Kentucky and 0% to Arizona. There is some talk that Kansas pulled their offer because they don't think he'll qualify. Who knows?

I thought for sure he was going to UK. With the leadup and the Sportscenter announcement it had Cal all over it, but then it didn't.

It's good press for Arizona, but this one isn't going to stick one way or another.

Yeah, Ayton will probably make it two straight recruits for Arizona that go the international route instead of playing college ball.
