Not that there are any rumors or anything, but I hope Benedict sticks around for at least a few more years. Our athletic department is in transition right now with the move to the Big East and football Independence from deals that he had a huge hand in negotiating. It probably wouldn’t be the best thing if a new captain took over before the ship is steered into calm seas.

Seriously, horrible ranking system. Reading through the description, they have some kind of men’s/women’s sports rankings combined with conference performance. So in essence, uconn is primarily only on the list because of the women’s basketball. Kent state is on the list because they play in the MAC.
A better AD ranking would be to compare against past AD results, or results over the past decade or two. Just throwing it out there

it’s weird that he’s trying to tie the albatrosses of administrations past around DB’s neck.
considering the dumpster fire he inherited it’s hard to argue with what he’s done so far.
I’m not saying he’s either under or overrated on the list.
but he didn’t hire PP, BD but did extend Ollie.
he’s not perfect. But he’s not the reason uconn was left without a seat in CR musical chairs.
