Dan Hurley “Seriously” Considered Stepping Down From UConn Last Year

Give Hurley another 10 to 15 years at UConn and he would be on anybody's Mount Rushmore. But that video was just plain stupid. Hurley isn't even in the top 10 coaches of all time.
It's current coaches only. These guys are not Uconn fans (B10 lovers), so the point is that other fanbases do see Hurley as best in the sport. Neither flinched to include him on their current coaches MR, using different criteria. A dominant B2B carries a lot of weight.

I would consider Hurley one of the top four current coaches. Mt Rushmore has nothing to do with "what have you done for me lately" coaches.

The list is stupid.

AD DB chimes in on the Dan Hurley "book promo newsflash"..... about half way in.....

DB does a nice job of getting Hurley's back, and good perspective. You could sense a great appreciation and understanding for Dan Hurley.

One correction - wasn't so much about one guy making shots for Florida as much as it was we didn't make open shots that lost that game.

I don't know too many fans of other teams that hold Hurley in high regard. This nonsense that we (men's team) are a national treasure is just that, pure nonsense.

This is about the exact opposite of my experience.
