Ok, its very rare for a D3 player to transer to D1. I figured hoops junkies like you, Scote, would be interested. Plus hes lanky and white.

As a former D3 athlete who played (baseball) against Williams I wish him all the luck and hope he does well. If I could have transfered to Arizona State on a baseball scholarship after my freshman year...that's what dreams are made of.

It's possible . Uconn basketball had one on the 1999 championship team. He original played at Danbury High and my alma mater Wcsu in the little East - EJ Harrison. He's a good dude and was lightning quick . We all felt he would've got more PT if he had another year.http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/E._J._Harrison_(basketball)

JC hooked Elmer up with Tony Hanson, and EJ was a star for the English team that Tony coached. Was still playing over there (Scotland, now) as of last season. Not sure if he retired prior to this season or not, but his team (Glasgow Rocks) plays USA Team Select next month.

Got to root for the kid to make all others (i.e. who rejected him) regret that decision. As like our Giffey the college game is perfect for pure shooters.

Williams and Amherst always have a bunch of guys who could easily play at the Ivy League level or better.
