I thought I remembered reading about her on here a while back... I thought, 'isn't she the volleyball player?'
Sure enough...

UConn started showing interest in Bryant in December of '23. Been pretty quiet on that front for a while however.

Cydnee Bryant - 2026 Corona Centennial

Cydnee is a jokic-type do it all post player that any coach would want on their team. She can score in the post with an array of moves, and she can also knock down shots from from any where with her extremly soft touch. Cydnee also can put it on the floor and make plays in a guard-like fashion. Most impressively, she is also a very good passer which allows her to conduct the offense from the top. her height and frame also allow her to be a terror on the glass on both ends.

The Next Jump: Cydnee has an exceptional skill set, but she could utilize her 6'4 frame more to her advantage. She spends a lot of time on the perimeter and she could be even more effective if she imposed herself on the opposition.

This relatively late interest in McDonald and Bryant makes me wonder about the status of the early top targets in this class since there's only a few spots available.
