We (fans) are hoping he is just interviewing out of respect or trying to leverage SUAD for more $$$ for pay/facilities. Never thought someone (Tampa Bay) would hire Shady last year...and Marrone is a much better coach.

It would actually be cool - instead of playing for draft picks or lottery spots, some of the dregs would have to actually show up and try to avoid being thrown out of their league.

If this rumor ends up being true, then Addazzio sure does have some bad luck.

A couple of years ago Addazzio took the Temple job right before Edsall resigned...probably would have been a top candidate for UConn which he would have much rather have had then Temple (who knows if he would have beat out PP in the end, but you never know).

Then just a couple of weeks ago he takes the BCU job...just a few weeks before the Syracuse job opens up (which he probably would be a top candidate for)...I am sure that he would much prefer Syracuse to BCU.

reports indicate that Syracuse football head coach Doug Marrone has already drawn interest from the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, and Kansas City Chiefs. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Marrone is scheduled to interview with the Bills and Browns this week.
