Being a Blaney is a lot easier than being a Calhoun. I think you should rethink your take on this to more of a long term outlook. I HOPE that Hopkins is a large part of the struggles, because that bodes horribly for their future.

Syracuse playing a scrimmage at 2pm ET on Day 1 of Atlantis compared to UConn playing a good team at 9:30pm ET Day 1 had an effect on how Day 2 played out for both teams. While we were trying to put away Michigan around midnight, Syracuse was resting and preparing for 8 hours on us. I hope that loss doesn't come back to bite us. We would have matched up better vs Texas A&M compared to playing Gonzaga after a disappointing loss. Losing to Syracuse was like losing 2 games. Not to mention it sucks to lose to them at all.

Agreed. I want to believe that Hopkins is terrible. But when you are totally reliant on the 3-ball, you will beat, and lose to teams you shouldn't.
