Cuse just got Duke'd

Boeheim and his whining is going to wear out their welcome quickly. There's nothing he won't bitch about, now Maryland is getting breaks by not playing today? What a pussbag. Speaking of which, I was just reading the Cuse board and suddenly I was banned just clicking on a new thread, for "spam". I haven't posted their since last season.

They don't like booger hookers down there.

As a devout cuse hater I couldn't have scripted a better ending to that game. Way better than a blow out. The melts by Boeheim and the cuse board are titillating.

::unzips::

Boeheim is the biggest whiner in sports. Threw Christmas under the bus in the postgame of the BCU game for his missed jumper at the end of regulation, and throws the ref under the bus here. Whenever he loses, it's someone else's fault.

You'll never get this out of JB

However, all I see on Twitter tonight is what a stand up guy JB is. (Cuse-Media Mafia in full effect.)

That last call was a 50/50. I think it should have been a no-call. That blocking foul early in the second halh on the Parker layup was clearly a charge on Parker. But Dook will always get those calls at home.

Syracuse won the first game against Duke on a 50/50 call, so we'll call it even.

sorry boeheim you a, the ACC giveth, and the ACC taketh away. your crappy little school may have gotten a life raft, but you ain't the royalty anymore

New rule says that if offensive player has begun his move, defensive player must already be in a defensive position. Replay clearly shows that Fair already was in shooting motion before defender established position. New rule says that is a block. It was a bad call by Tony Green.

I'm not a Boeheim hater, but he ended game with his outburst since the foul on Fair would only have given ball over to Duke with 10 on the clock, a one point lead and Syracuse needing to foul.

Welcome to the ACC.

Vitale now making an assassination of himself.

Well CD, besides the ACC providing thrill of watching two self-absorbed morons(Krapascrewdookski and Assinheim) on a regular basis, you have added another great quote to the ultra-stellar Boneyard Collection. Well done!!! :) And since I never need much provocation to hop online and buy more gear, I took advantage of your success to provide a reason to buy the following:

Damn autocorrect on my Kindle and the filter on here turned arse in to assassination.

On a tangent, I will never buy another Kindle again. Keyboard sensitivity is a showstopper.

If you are Boeheim, you have to know a few things...

1. You are not getting that call on the road about 75% of the time.

2. You are not getting that call at Cameron 99.99999999% of the time.

3. You can disagree all you want, most officials will put up with a screaming fit in that situation, they know the drill. However you canNOT go that far onto the court (first T) and you cannot follow the official to the table, screaming at him the whole time, using synonyms for cow manure and expect not to get another one.

4. You can expect a call from the ACC for hovering over the officials at the monitor after the 2nd technical when you should have been leaving.
One bit of good news; he stopped picking his nose for a little while:)

I'm sure, it was, in part, for future "welcome to the ACC calls". He might get a couple to go his way now that he's gone ape s hit.

Defender did a decent job but he's not getting that call very often. My question is why don't more schools set up a pit like Duke has to play in. Home court is huge there.

Duke can afford to have the students right on the court. UConn is more dependent on large donors than Duke (so students don't get the prime seating mid court at UConn). Michigan is similar to Duke.

In real time, it looked like a terrible call, so I can't blame Boeheim entirely for his reaction. On replay, the call was less egregious, but I still think it should have been a block, or preferably, nothing at all.
That was as close a call you can get. Old rules, that is clearly a charge. With the new rules I'm not so sure. With the new rules the player has to be set before the offense if player begins to go into his move. It's not how it used to be called where the players needed to be set before the player got into the air. If anything it should have been a no call at that point in the game. It was one of those games where I wish both teams had lost.

Ennis is a nice player but had a tough game. I can't see how anyone could compare him to Bazz at least at this stage in their careers.

He was livid because of the block foul called on his team on Parker's 3 point play earlier, and the 'same play' is called a charge on fair.

dook still has the refs in their pocket, especially when doing their flop dance.

The real call for a referee not choking on his whistle or K's d**k is a NO CALL…..Otherwise it was a 51-49 call with a block having the edge. Was Hood there? Kind of but they were there same time…….Fair did clear one leg and hip and his arms though so it wasn't fully square……..tough tough call and one he should have let go. Good news is………Syracuse lost! So who gives a crap………:D

Plus the real reason they lost was Ennis and Cooney 3 for 18 from the floor and 0-5 from 3 - Cooney got off 5 hots, count 'em FIVE……..can't get open against a good defender!

Any of you goons saying right call would not agree if that was Shabazz driving the lane. Duke player absolutely not set by the time he was going to leave the ground, even leaned into it after Fair was already about to make contact. Awful call, even more awful to make at the very end of the game to decide it. They had just called on a block for duke, then minutes later call the same play the other way?

Ugh friggin duke

Duke player absolutely not set by the time he was going to leave the ground,

Is the rule "going to leave the ground" or when he left the ground?

"Starting the upward motion" and that typically begins with bringing the ball up.

In a"euro step" move that "Starting the upward motion" could be before the first of two steps?
