Emeka was a Terminator with those blocks, that's great to see again.
From Mike Vacarro at the New York Post:

Okafor had been strangled by fouls in the first half, suffocated by quick whistles that limited him to four minutes, one rebound and zero points. Calhoun, the coach who built this wonderful Huskies team around Okafor’s broad, powerful shoulders, displayed the nerve of a jewel thief, keeping him chained to the bench, keeping him out until the half, gambling that the rest of the Huskies would do their part to stay within shouting distance.

They did that.

Then Okafor did the rest.

This was heavily spotlighting Emeka, I’m guessing jersey retirement.

Aren't a lot of schools hiring past playing legends as General Managers lately?

This was my first thought as well.

I don't think it can be a jersey retirement because I thought induction into the Naismith HOF was one of the requirements?

Coach K going nuts on the officials after Rashad stole the ball from Reddick with Duke down 1 is priceless. You dont have to be a lip reader to realize what he was saying.

Every time I hear clips of Nantz pronounce Oka-furr, I cringe.
I will always remember the 1990 BET Semis vs. GTown, Brent Musburger spent the first half calling us "The UConn".

El partido no esta en nuestro casa

Most productive "Big Man" in Uconn history by far. As a freshman, was the only front court player of value on a team that was shut out of the final 4 by the eventual Champions.
