He and I have been seen in the same room together, so no.

A couple things about Boeheim:

1) If you want to make a commissioner of college basketball, you start with him. A lot of coaches know their team, their opponents and not much else - he knows everyone. Pay attention to his breakdown of the NCAA tourney yearly...it'll be the best one you hear.

2) Very decent guy in person - I like him.

3) His wife is nicer and more attractive than she appears on television which is nearly impossible.

4) He's whiny. All coaches are whiny.

The ACC is ESPN's bitch and whenever they have a hole in their live sports calendar, Syracuse has to be ready to fill it. That's the price of joining the ACC.

I hear ESPN is short of content for the 3 am shift. Get ready Jim!

I don't want to believe any of this except 4, but he used to break down the tourney with Francesca (if I remember correctly) and now on ESPN and he is usually spot on about matchups.
