As odd as it sounds (up until 1 year ago I never would have imagined myself saying this), a big collective sigh of relief can be heard throughout Uconn Nation. But now it is just nice to get that first game out of the way. Regardless of who you play, getting off on the right foot will likely lead to a solid season down the line.

This team is capable. Ugly win, lots of mistakes, but capable.

If Colgate closes out 4-0 my prediction of 70-62 is correct.

I'll take a double digit win over anyone without Adams and a lackluster game by both Gilbert and Vital. We atleast have some depth and some guys who can do some positive stuff out there that may not wow you but can up and help out the main scorers. Anderson and Whatley did that tonight. Gotta keep Larrier and Gilbert healthy.
