I didn't think so in October, but now just maybe....I wouldn't count out ND for a #1 seed just yet. They may be as good as Duke and/or Stanford before all is said and done.
I think it would 2 straight years. Three years ago they were a #1 seed and ND defeated them, then #1 seed UConn, and then were defeated by Texas A&M in the finals. As the Aggies eliminated the Bears that year, Tennessee couldn't have been in their bracket. But last year they definately were in Baylor's bracket, so it's one year possibly going on two.Tennessee in Baylor's bracket again? That would make three straight years.
It's possible, but it's really too early to tell. We'll know a bit more after Saturday. Stanford may not be as good as people thought, but we really know NOTHING about Duke. Their uncharateristically weak OOC schedule has left them mostly unchallenged (with UConn to come, of course), and their conference may be weaker this year because of Maryland's injuries. It's possible they could be like last season's Stanford team that posted a gaudy record against a much easier schedule than the other top 3 teams.I wouldn't count out ND for a #1 seed just yet. #1 seed Tenn lost to #4 seed Baylor in the E8 game in 2010. In the 2012 E8 game, #1 Baylor defeated #2 Tenn.

Actually........ Baylor upset TN in the Sweet 16 in Memphis that year (2010)..... then they stunned Duke in the Elite 8
One of my best memories is that leaner that Griner hit in the lane. I thought that was one of the biggest shots in her career.

Why not swap Penn State and California? The Penn State gets a short trip to MD, California gets a shorter trip to CO, and you don't have California and Stanford in the same region?
