If ND can't win at LSU, they don't deserve to be in the Final Four. I'd love to see them lose, but they won't. However, maybe some Voodoo for the Final Four. Hmmm.

I'd laugh if LSU didn't get into the NCAA's. howver with only 2 games remaining vs. Alabama and aTm, they should end the season 18-11 before the conference tourney and 9-6 in the SEC...

Should I start making my Diggins voodoo doll now?

He assumes St Johns makes it; I'm not so sure. They are 1-8 against the top 50. And they have 2 losses to non-top 50 teams.

Eastern Illinois. Awesome. In Charleston, IL where my dad lived the last few years of his life. Been there quite a few times. :)

St. John's has the most favorable schedule of the BE 3rd place contenders. With Villanova, Seton Hall, and DePaul (@ home) they are in position to steal 3rd place away from both Louisville and Syracuse. If they win out or get 2 of 3 their record over the final 10 games will be either 9-1 or 8-2.

Top 4 BE finish, good record over past 10 games, and the nature of their losses (early season injuries, 5 games lost by 3pts or less to 4 ranked teams, close one with UConn etc. I think they get in when you look at some of the bad losses that mid-pack tourney teams from the B1G and ACC have recorded. Only Texas loss is to a guaranteed non-tourney team.

We've had to travel several years. Last year particularly.

Maybe it all evens out. This year it will be Waco, Oklahoma City, New Orleans--well within travel distance for as many as can get tickets.

Getting more P'Oed by the week that NCAA has downsized the venue in New Orleans. Only our big money people and/or athletic department personnel will get access to alotment tickets (and a theology prof is NOT a big money person). I'm spoiled from lucking out with good seats in the past, so I hesitate to buy up in the rafters, but those who have been there say even the upper deck is not a bad seat. Hard for me to believe.
