Could definitely see Creighton being a top 5 team next year and having a good chance of winning it all.

and would love to see them beat Kansas.
 
Trying to root for them, but can’t. Being 0-5 will do that to a man

It doesn't seem possible this game is competitive at all. I believe they are down 2-3 starters. Depending on how you look at it.

Injuries can galvanize a team. So it's impossible to say what could of been, but it seems like an argument could be made they would be a favorite to win this year if they had a complete roster.
 
They have lots of talent on that roster even down two starters which helps.
 
Kaluma is a beast for a freshman, he doesn’t get much recognition either. I don’t think they have much more talent then us just better coached!!

Look in the mirror... we are NOT Creighton...somebody said it...Tough and disciplined ( regardless who wins vs Kansas )...sorry but I still have Thursday stuck in my craw...
 
Difference between a great coach and… Hurley…. Creighton is playing above their heads when the time calls for it against a superior team… UConn loses to a mid major….
 
Really good effort by Creighton there. Good game. Wish the Huskies played that hard in their NCAA Tournament game.

Damn right. I never bought into the notion that UConn was an elite team or elite in any aspect besides offensive rebounding, certainly not elite in offense or defense. I would have been over the moon if they reached the Sweet 16 but didn’t expect it. I did expect a 2nd round appearance.
I am still proud of Whaley, Polley, Martin, and Cole for their contributions

We all do. No need to apologize. UConn matched up well with NM St but they came out nervous and tight and played up hill the rest of the game. Unlike last year when I saw they were matched up with Maryland who was a bad match up becaushe Hurley and the players struggle with the nuance of playing help defense against teams that play 5 out

Are they the pre-season favorites in the Big East next year? Incredible season for them.

I wouldn’t go that far. If we could knock down shots like them I’m sure our enthusiasm would have matched or exceeded them.
 
Hate being 0-5 against them but they are easy to root for. One bad pass robbed them of chance to keep playing. Their players play with a lot of confidence Very well coached.

Hard to believe they were picked 8th in the BE preseason poll but they lost all their starters from last years tournament team. And props to Greg McD for actually playing his freshman
