Anyone who says they know how a team of college kids is going to look after a 2 week layoff is fooling themselves.

That being said, as a Hurley stan and someone who has a hard time - however stupid it might be - being scared of a team from Nebraska, I’m optimistic about tomorrow.
 
Probably should phrase it Creighton -1.5 or UConn +1.5 vs. Creighton.

I like the Huskies with the points. Creighton has to travel from South Dakota. We've had plenty of time to game plan. We just saw Gonzaga not lose anything after missing time. We have a couple games under our belt, so things aren't totally new. We likely have used the time to adapt. I think of it as coming off an NFL bye week. Historically, that's worth a point or two.

Line went to 4. Public must be dumping on Creighton. It’s going to be tough for us today. We haven’t played lately and they have been playing well. I’m going to stay off and just be a super fan today. Nothing to stop me from dropping a halftime bet though!

But we are well rested, just like when you come back to work after being on vacation. More productive, right?
 
82% on Creighton? Vegas is looking to make money after yesterday’s football flops. I can see UConn winning this.

Didn’t like the matchup with these guys before the 2 week layoff. Hope I’m wrong but seems 82% of folks have the same idea. Rough one especially at home without the crowd.

Please make me wrong!!!

I was going to say, -1.5 is basically a pick'em, and there's no way we should be favored against the #9 team after a 2-week layoff, even if they've had to travel a ways.

I would have had Creighton about -6.5.

ive actually never had it, nor heard of it. Need to make a halftime packy run!
 
I am a weird combination of bummed and hyped up right now.

Right now, my game day crew would be sitting in a car in the garage across from Gampel drinking beers, listening to hype music, and debating dropping bets on UConn. Our return to the BE with a huge matchup. I can just hear the crowd blowing the roof off the place. Creighton wouldn't stand a chance if we were all there.

Instead I'm in my house, solo, listening to Eye of the Tiger.
